We are so excited to bring you our new 2019-2020 LifeSkills programme!
We have worked with LifeSkills created with Barclays for 6 years to support the delivery of employability skills lessons to students who need them the most, helping over 200,000 young people.
The LifeSkills programme helps prepare young people for the move from education into work, equipping them with the core, transferable skills that businesses needed. The programme, commended by City and Guilds, focuses on skills such as CV writing, interview skills, problem solving, adaptability, creativity, resilience, proactivity, communication and leadership. Teachers can access over 65 hours of free curriculum linked employability resources, videos, quick fire activities, interactive tools and lesson plans, as well as dozens of interactive tools for young people to learn in their own time or in conjunction with their parents. More than 75,000 educators are registered at www.barclayslifeskills.com.
We are delighted to offer your school a series of fully funded LifeSkills workshops for students.
We would work with you for one academic year, providing some of your students with four LifeSkills lessons delivered by us and Barclays employees and three by your teachers.
For those students taking part who are over 14 years old, there will be online self-study between sessions, all activity aimed at boosting their employability skills and supporting their future prospects.
We will help you decide which LifeSkills content would be most suitable for your students as well as agreeing a delivery plan.
