Barclays LifeSkills

Barclays LifeSkills is an employability programme aimed at 11-19 year olds. The Transformation Trust is Barclays' charity partner in England for the delivery of LifeSkills to schools across the country.

The motivation behind the LifeSkills programme is to inspire millions of young people and equip them with the key skills to move forward into the 21st century work place.

Eligible schools can book fully-funded workshops covering more than 60 hours of free curriculum-linked employability resources, focusing on three core modules: work skills, people skills, and money skills. There are a wide variety of workshops available, and teachers are free to pick and choose the combinations that they feel would most benefit their students.

More than ever, young people need to leave school or college with the broader skills that we know employers look for. The skills that the LifeSkills workshops help develop and hone provide a firm foundation to help them deal with the challenges they will face.

The sessions are delivered by a professional facilitator from the Transformation Trust.
