KPMG WorkReady Hackathon

‘The only Skill that will be important in the 21st Century is the skill of learning new skills’

WorkReady is a fully funded, one-day workshop developed by KPMG and the Transformation Trust. The programme offers the opportunity for 2 groups of 70 students in Year 10 or 12 to use the latest technology and skills to respond to and solve a client brief.

KPMG volunteers and an experienced Transformation Trust facilitator will support the students to understand and explore emerging technology that will transform how businesses solve everyday problems. Students will work on developing skills such as teamwork, problem solving, resilience, digital awareness and presentation skills.

The programme is designed to make sure students of all abilities can take part; they do not need to be a technology whizz to take part!

As part of the KPMG WorkReady Hackathon students will also earn a badge for the Duke of York’s Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA).
