PruGOals is a programme carried out by Prudential aimed at 16-18 year olds from low-income families in which hundreds of young people join professional riders for the Prudential RideLondon. The programme helps students to build their confidence and to support them as they move from school to employment. Prudential provides bikes, equipment, coaching, and mentoring for the students as they prepare for the Prudential RideLondon on Sunday, 29 July.

Alongside bike training, the students will also be taught about nutrition and living healthily through diet.

The Transformation Trust is just one of five partnered organisations that work with Prudential to encourage students to raise their aspirations and increase their self-esteem.

It was really uplifting to attend the bike-fitting sessions where the young people were encouraged to think about their ambitions, attitudes and goals for the next seven months.

Seeing their reactions as they received their bikes really brought to life the impact that this programme is going to have on them. It is fantastic to see Prudential so invested in young people and their futures.
